Curtis Estell Holbrook, age 82, of West Milton, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017.  He was born to the late Vernie E. Holbrook and Mary M. (Carpenter) Boggs on September 8, 1935 in Greenup, Kentucky.  Curtis is preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy Holbrook and June Clemmons, sisters Ina Click, Marthalee Munon, Madge Gillespie, and Louise Hunt.  He is survived by his loving wife Verna E. (Lawson) Holbrook; children Terry (Clint) Dillon of New Carlisle, Denise (Lance) Paden of West Milton, Jerry Holbrook of Greenville, and Judy (David) Sperling of Noblesville, Indiana; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings Alma Frawley, Ernie Holbrook, Lee Holbrook, and Rose Lewis.  Curtis was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM –1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Crestview Baptist Church, 6600 Salem Ave, Clayton, Ohio, 45315, with funeral service following at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crestview Baptist Church.  Online memories may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
