David E. McCray, Age 66, of West Milton, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born September 7, 1950 to Gordon & Anita (Royon) McCray in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his wife Joan McCray and father Gordon H. McCray. He will be missed and remembered by his daughter Michele (Christopher) Meehan of Fairfield, CT; mother Anita McCray of West Milton; grandchildren Molly and Zachary Meehan; brothers Paul McCray of West Milton and Jim McCray of Polly’s Island, SC. David loved playing piano and writing poetry. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a memorial service to honor David’s life beginning at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Brukner’s Nature Center, 5995 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Troy, OH 45373.
