DeWitt Brown

DeWitt Brown, Age 83, of Ludlow Falls, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born January 14, 1935, to his parents T. Lester and Blanche Mae Brown. DeWitt grew up on a farm and graduated from Arcanum High School class of 1953. After the army and marriage, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck loader until retirement. He was a veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean War, stationed in England where he met his wife Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Doyle Brown, and sisters Doris Ary and Darr Leen Fourman. He will be missed and remembered by his wife Barbara, brother Dansen Brown, many nieces and nephews, his good neighbors, and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-2 PM on Saturday, April 7, followed by military honors, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton.
