Debra "Debbie" M. Cress

Debra “Debbie” M. Cress, age 68, of Laura, OH, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born August 30, 1949 to the late Roy Herschel & Ruby Mae (Helmandollar) McCann in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry Allen Cress and parents. She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Jennifer Leigh (Matt) Berrey of Waynesville, OH, Jacob Allen (Joseph) Cress of Cincinnati, OH, Elisabeth “Betsy” Anne (Kyle) Courtright of Tipp City, OH, and Alison Louise (Katlin) Clark of Tipp City, OH; 5 grandchildren; sister Patricia McCann of Sidney, OH. Debbie was a graduate of Riverside High School in DeGraff, OH and Wright State University. Debbie was also a member of the Card Making Club and volunteered at GIVE Medical Ministry and at Grandma’s Kitchen. She also was an avid reader and loved watching her grandchildren play sports. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 22 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton, OH with Ashley McCarroll officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton, OH. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, February 21 at the funeral home.
