Our thoughts and prayers are with you all this weekend as you remember your mother's life. She made an impact on all of us, and we have fond memories of holiday celebrations together in Urbana, and then in Union, as the torch was passed to the next generation. Wishing we could be there with you.

I have fond memories of Dottie and John and family when the lived on S. Locust St. in Urbana, across the street from my grandparents (the Luellens). I kept up on family happenings with John while we both worked at Howard Paper. Both were great neighbors and friends and will be sadly missed .

I am very sorry to read of your loss. With all her love and joys, I know she was an amazing woman. I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is John 11:25, which says, " Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved mother, grandma and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org

My deepest condolences to the Snyder family. So very sorry to learn of your loss. May the comforting hope of a future free of all sickness, death pain and tears found in God's word at Revelation 21: 4, give you strength and endurance in the days and weeks ahead.

Dottie was a favorite neighbor to my mother and our family. She and John were sweet, funny and great for visits. We were the Vourlas family in Urbana, Ohio on Boyce Street. My name is Janet and I just wanted the family of Dottie to know she was such a sweet and valuable neighbor as a friend of the family. My sincere condolences to Jack, Marilyn and Barbie and their loved ones. We know she will be missed. Our family moved away but we still hold great memories of Dottie and her family.
