Elinor “Ellie” Bernd

Elinor Bernd passed away May 1, at her residence in Williamsburg Virginia. Elinor was married to Robert Bernd. They both had been employed by Hobart Manufacturing. Mrs. Bernd is survived by her husband, Robert, a daughter and son-in-law Anita (John) Randle and a son and daughter-in-law Devin (Carol) Bell. She also has 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Longtime residents of Troy and Miami County, Robert and Elinor were members of the Troy United Methodist Church and later The Williamsburg United Methodist Church in Virginia. They were and have been active and dedicated members of these congregations.

The family is grateful for a loving and gracious woman who demonstrated the peace and wisdom of her Lord and Savior Jesus.

Elinor was an embodiment of Proverbs 31:28; “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:”
