Age 67 of, Greenville, formerly of Pitsburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. He was born September 27, 1949, in Greenville, Ohio, to his parents Leonard R. & Eunice (Phipps) Fourman. Gerald graduated from Franklin Monroe High School class of 1967. He worked most of his life in the food industry and was the owner of Rax Roast Beef in Greenville. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds fan. Gerald was a member of the Pleasant View Missionary Church. He was active with Bible quizzing for over 25 years where he served as a coach, quiz leader, and quiz director for the ECD. He will be missed and remembered by his daughter and son-in-law Angela & Tim Studebaker of Laura; grandchildren Matthew & Alyssa Studebaker and Ashley Studebaker; siblings Harold & Kayetta Fourman of Port Clinton, Alice Martin of West Milton, Bruce & Kristy Fourman of Urbana, Bob & Marsha Cox of West Milton, Dewey & Penny Cox of Florida, John Cox. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda (Dresbach) Fourman; sister Linda Sowers. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, April 29, at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Mote Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
