Gerald “Gary” Irvin Roush of Tipp City, Ohio, age 77, died unexpectedly at St. John Macomb Hospital in Michigan on June 14, 2017.  Gary was born on May 6, 1940 and was raised by his parents in West Milton, Ohio.  He was a graduate of Milton Union High School class of 1958, and served in the United States Navy.  He was a hardworking, dedicated, loving family man. He loved his family deeply.  He also loved his dogs, Snickers and Cooper. He was preceded by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Roush and his brother and sister-in-law Steve & Barbara Roush.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Theda Roush, his brother, Dwaine (Judy) Roush, his sister Barbara (Fred) Permenter, his daughters, Stacy (Ron) Douglas, Amy Kitchen, Kristina Roush, his son, Scott (Courtney) Roush, and his grandchildren Ashley Kitchen, Karly Douglas, Cory Douglas, Danielle Roush, Katlyn Douglas, Kinsey Douglas, Austin Roush, Logan Roush, Emery Roush, and many other close family members and friends.  To respect Gary’s wishes, a gathering of friends and family will be held 2-4 PM Sunday, June 18, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boonshoft School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program, 3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy, Dayton, Ohio 45435.
