Homer E. Wilson
Age 89, of Castleton, New York, formally of Union, Ohio, passed away January 15, 2018, at Riverside Center of Rehab and Nursing. He was born October 6, 1928, in Clayton, Ohio, to his parents Wilbur & Bertha (Price) Wilson. Homer worked as a custodian for Northmont Schools for over 30 years. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW organization. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley Ann (Orth) Wilson; his parents; siblings Charles Wilson, Jack Wilson. He will be missed and remembered by his sons and daughter-in-law Brian & Donna Wilson of St. Augustine, Florida,  and Gary Wilson of Tipp City; grandchildren Lyndsey & Brian Shabbott and Jackson Wilson; great grandchildren Luca Shabbott; brother William Wilson; sister Nancy Knopp. Funeral service 10:30 AM Monday, January 22, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Forest Hill Memorial Garden, Tipp City. The family will receive friends 9:30-10:30 AM Monday. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
