James A. Pruitt, age 93, of Englewood, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018. He was born on January 22, 1924 to the late John and Sarah (Tyree) Pruitt in Whitesburg, Kentucky.  He is survived by his wife Christine (Moreland) Gilmore; children Judith Mize of Wilder, KY, Michael Pruitt of Dayton, and Jerry Pruitt of Huber Heights; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  James attended Hoffman United Methodist Church in West Milton, and proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.  Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 18, at Hoffman United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main Street, West Milton. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home.
