James Lewis Saunders

Age 69, of West Milton, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Genesis Healthcare. He was born May 31, 1947, in Troy, Ohio, to his parents James David & Doris G. (Mote) Saunders.  James was US Marine Corp. veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Potsdam Church of the Brethren. He will be missed and remembered by his loving children and their spouses Stephanie & Kenneth Jackson of West Milton, Angela & Adam Todd of Tipp City, Jamie Saunders of New Lebanon; grandchildren Robert, James, Austin, Cassie, Tyler, Kohl, Caylee, Cheyanne, Savanna, Devin, Sienna; great grandchildren Miles, Scarlett, Dixie, Malakai, Hazel; siblings and their spouses Doug & Glenda Saunders of Laura, Kenneth & Julie Saunders of Laura, Lonnie & Saundra Saunders of Troy, Bonnie & Terry Barga of Laura; Karen Rose of Laura. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 23, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Old Ludlow Cemetery, Laura.
