Jean Brown, age 92, of Union, passed away on January 7, 2018.  She was born on October 5, 1925 to the late Thomas and Erna (Merkie) Bell in her home in Union, Ohio.  Jean is preceded in death by her husband Glen “Bud” Kendall, killed in World War II at the Battle of the Bulge on December 26, 1944; her husband Sidney L. Brown; and siblings Thomas “Buddy” Bell and Helen Ogan.  She will be forever missed and remembered by her sons Glen R. Kendall and David W. (Marsha) Kendall of West Milton and S. Lee “Butch”(Frances) Brown of Tipp City;  12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.  Jean was a member of the Sharon Chapter, #132, O.E.S and attended Hoffman United Methodist Church in West Milton.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 10 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.  Condolences and memories may be left for the family online at www.hale-sarver.com.
