Kenneth Warner, Age 83, of Brookville, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at Brookhaven Nursing Home. He was born May 15, 1933 to the late John T. & Helen R. (McCabe) Warner in Braintree, Massachusetts. He is preceded in death by his brother Ray Warner and sister Peggy Donahue. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Barbara V. (Wagner) Warner; children Dave (Lisa) Warner, Sandy (Joe) Thompson, Kim (Joe) Hafferty, and Linda Ott; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers Paul and Dick Warner. Ken served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After serving in the Navy, Ken started his career that led him to corporate positions as vice president of marketing for many well-known companies including Ponderosa steakhouses, Burger King, Orange Julius, and Dairy Queen. In his later years, he owned his own catering company which he thoroughly enjoyed, as it provided an opportunity for his best past time “the gift of gab.” A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St, Dayton, OH 45428 with military honors. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
