Neva E. Huffgarden

Neva E. Huffgarden, age 93, of Greenville, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Brethren Retirement Community. She was born November 13, 1924 to the late John Henry & Mary Susan (Miller) Uhrig in Phillipsburg, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfred Alvin Huffgarden; sister Naomi Brumbaugh and longtime companion Ralph Sauerman. She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Judith (David) Kikendall of Frankfort, KY, Linda (Roy) Redick of Fletcher, Gary (Linda) Huffgarden of Conover, and Lonnie (Ginni) Huffgarden of West Alexandria; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren that she loved very much. Neva was a member of Salem Church of the Brethren and loved sewing, crocheting and painting. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Thursday, April 19 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with Chaplain Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Englewood. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, April 18 at the funeral home.
