Samantha Shirl Freels, age 52, of Ludlow Falls, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born July 7, 1965, in Troy, Ohio, to her father Billy J. Howard and mother Mavis (Pennington) & Anzel Reed. Samantha graduated from Milton-Union High School class of 1983. She attended Sinclair Community College and graduated with an Associates Degree in Communications from the International College of Broadcasting (ICB). For nearly twenty years she has been employed with the Cox Media Group as a digital sales specialist.  She will be missed and remembered by her parents; children and their spouses Anthony & Chelsea Freels of Laura, Bradley Freels of Huber Heights, Luke & Ericha Freels of Weston; grandchildren Wyatt, Khloe, and Forrest; half sister Melissa Randolph of Brookville; special friends Rajean Cornick of Troy and Jeff Cooper; many aunts,  uncles, and close friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 17, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Noble Circle Project.
