Shirley Ann (Aldora) Beard

Shirley A. Beard of West Milton, age 83, passed away on March 10, 2018 at Koester Pavilion.  Shirley was born on February 17, 1935 to the late John and Dorothy (King) Aldora in Toledo, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Beard; brothers Charles, John, and George (Eddie) Aldora; sister Catherine Aldora Apple; and son-in-law James Manning.  She will be missed and remembered by her son Bobby (Pamela) Beard of Ludlow Falls and daughter Phyllis Manning of Troy; her grandchildren Kimberly Swartz, David Manning, Jimmy Manning, Kristina Beard Schaefer, and Katelyn Beard Fast; 6 great-grandchildren; and special friends Linda, Renea, and Tim.  Shirley enjoyed crafts, fishing, taking senior group trips, and their family dinners.  Her family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 14th, with funeral services immediately following at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family online at www.hale-sarver.com.
