Allen E. Rogers

Allen E. Rogers, age 80, of West Milton, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born January 5, 1939 to the late Clarence E. & Helen M. (Flory) Rogers-Gentner in Gordon, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Ruth Naseman, Pearl McGraw, and Francis Stansberry. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Nova L. (Rhoades) Rogers of 59 years; daughters Durinda (Harold) Simmerman of Vandalia, and Shelly (William) Lane of Tipp City; grandchildren Brad Canan, Jeff Simmerman, Steven Lane, Branden Lane, Sharayah Winkelman, Shayla Thompson; great grandchildren Brady Canan, Addyson Canan, and Emma Simmerman; sisters Joyce (Greg) Halderman of Miamisburg and Phyllis Skaggs of Miamisburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Allen was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Huber Heights Masonic Lodge #777 F&AM. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, December 11 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1209 S.
