Annabelle Altic

Annabelle Altic of West Milton, age 91, passed away on April 1, 2019.  She was born on May 4, 1927 in Kessler, Ohio to the late Rudolph and Retta (Sayers) Swartz.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Franklin W. Sass and Ned Charles Altic; siblings Christy Swartz, Jenny Wolfe, Leo Swartz, Roy Swartz, Lou Brubaker, and Wilda Pearson; sisters-in-law Joyce Swartz and Janet Swartz; and brothers-in-law Sonny Wolfe, Gene Swartz, Dean Pearson, and Howard Brubaker. She is survived by her loving children, Carolyn (Donald) Beard of West Milton, Linda (Robert) Wilson of Tucson, Arizona, Franklin (Mendy) Sass of West Milton, and Ned Altic of Germantown; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and siblings Mae (Marvin) Elleman, Gerald Swartz, Irene (Norman) Underwood, and Sue (Dick) Dempsey.  She attended Sugar Grove Bible Church, and was a member of both the VFW Auxillary Post #8211 and the American Legion Auxillary Post #487.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 31 W.
