Davin First Obituary

Davin First, age 68, of Tipp City, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on January 29, 2018.  He was born on June 14, 1949 to the late Dick and Mary (Hutchinson) First in Lima, Ohio.  He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Lee (Beam) First.  He will be missed and remembered by his wife Jill (Thomas) First; children Jeremy (Jenni) First, Casaundra (Daniel) Swinehart, Kendra Vanscoy, Andrew (Liz) Overbay, and Angela (Tim) Hawkins; twelve grandchildren; siblings Steve (Becky) First, Kathi (Ed) Ross, Karen (Kelly) Markin, Kristina First, and Deanna First.  Davin served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He loved watching his grandkids play sports and spending time with his family, especially while sitting by a campfire.  He was a member of the Greater Dayton Corvette Club and the International Thunderbird Club.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Huber Heights Church of God, 6900 Brandt Pike, Dayton.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Football Club, c/o Bethel Local Schools, 7490 State Route 201, Tipp City, OH  45371.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
