Edward A Sims

Edward A. Sims, age 90, of South Webster, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Koester Pavilion in Troy, Ohio. He was born April 1, 1928 to the late Elbert A. Sims and Birl (Kittles) Hook in Springfield, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his siblings Dick Sims and Louise Pamplin. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Muriel K. (Truebenbach) Sims; children Eddie Morris of Glouster, Trent Sims of West Chester, and Tracy Sims of Cooksville, TN; step children Jeffrey Webb of Greenville, SC, Anthony (Crissy) Webb of Casstown, Stewart (Monica) Webb of Pleasant Hill, and Doug (Dana) Webb of Troy; 5 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. Edward served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and retired from GM Delco Moraine Plant. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Thursday, May 10 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM.
