Evelyn J. Bowman

Evelyn J. Bowman of West Milton, age 91, passed away at Hillspring of Springboro on January 25, 2019.  She was born to the late Harry and Mary (Anderson) Dewitt on September 17, 1927 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio.  Evelyn was a 1945 graduate of Trotwood High School.  She served for many years as a bus driver for Milton-Union Schools, and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Parker E. Bowman.  She will be forever missed and remembered by her sons and daughter, Timothy (LaDonna) Bowman, Jeff Bowman and Toni (Doug) Crawford; grandchildren Maria (Ryan) Voegle, Tonya (Doug) Nelson, Jordan and Nate Crawford; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow at Ehrstine Cemetery, Trotwood. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the services. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Evelyn’s honor to Young Life, 3857 N.
