Evelyn Swank
Age 89, of Troy, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Senior Home Choice, Vandalia. She was born December 17, 1928, in Greenville, Ohio, to her parents Guy & Melva (Coate) Bryson. She graduated from Covington High School. On May 11, 1957, She married William H. Swank, and together they shared a life until Bill’s passing in 2008. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; daughter Jeanne Lacey; granddaughter Hannah Lacey. She will be missed and remembered by her son Melvin Eugene Swank of Vandalia; daughter and son-in-law Janel & Michael Hurley of Vandalia; grandchildren Jared Lacey, Jordan Lacey, Rachel Lacey; great grandson Julian Lacey; sister Donna Lyon. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2018, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. Pastor Gilbert Welbaum will officiate with interment following at Wheelock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Monday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Online memories may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com
