Fred B. Copeland, Age 67, of West Milton, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 22, 1949 to late William Bailey & Edna Mae (Hodge) Copeland in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Albert Doyle Copeland, William Charles Copeland, Edward Morris Copeland, Thelma Ann Nell-Conley, and Gwendolyn Copeland. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Brenda (Combs) Copeland of West Milton; daughter Tracy Caylor of Riverside; stepdaughter Heather Ruth (Clint) Magel of West Milton; grandchildren Nicholas Copeland, Alexander and Caleb Caylor, Clayton Adam and Dalton Jacob Minton, and Morgan Lynn Magel; great grandchild Jameson Copeland; siblings Alma Jo Nicholas, Paul Max (Delores) Copeland, and Delta Graye Harmuth. Fred was a 1968 Stivers High School graduate and served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He was a pressman for the Dayton Daily Newspaper and loved doing car, Victorian home and the Miami County Bicentennial Barn Restorations. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a memorial service to honor Fred’s life beginning at 2:00 PM. A memorial service will also be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Bicentennial Barn in West Milton.
