Frederick Earl Sanders, age 79, of West Milton, passed away on October 27, 2017 at his home.  He was born on August 19, 1938 to the late Frederick and Cora (Huston) Sanders.  Frederick is survived by his wife, NevaJean (Hissong) Sanders;  children Sue (Allen) Minneman, Sheryl (Randy) Hoskins, and Scott (fiance’ Anna Pearson) Sanders; grandchildren Josh (Alison) Osborne, Angel (Tyler) Helton, Cody Fast, Matt (Heidi) Sanders, Gage, Meah, and Zeva Pearson, Holly (Zac Hensley) Minneman, Abby (Jeff) Barnhart, and Dexter (Amy) Minneman; and great-grandchildren Quinn Barnhart, Alyssa, Natalie, and Parker Helton, Myles and Liam Osborne, Payten and Vexxy Fast, and Colton and Carter Sanders. 

Frederick was a 1957 graduate of Milton-Union High School.  He retired from General Motors and at age 69 went back to school to obtain his Pharmaceutical Tech degree and worked at Health Care Pharmacy. He was a member of Hoffman United Methodist Church, past master West Milton Masonic Lodge #577 F. & A.M, Sharon Chapter #132 Order Eastern Star, member Royal Arch Mason and of Coleman Commandery #17 of Troy, and an active member of West Milton Eagles #3621.  He was an avid Harley-Davidson bike rider and volunteered for Hospice of Miami County.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St., West Milton with interment following at Bethel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening, October 30, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., with Masonic services at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Fred’s memory to Hospice of Miami County or Hoffman United Methodist Church of West Milton.  Memories for the family may be left on-line at www.hale-sarver.com.
