Gary T. McDowell, age 72, of Kettering, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born March 10, 1947 to the late Duane & Elaine (Stager) McDowell in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Jeffrey McDowell. He will be missed and remembered by his loving children Mickey McDowell of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Christie Randall of Greenville, Kevin McDowell, and Michael McDowell; 3 grandchildren and siblings Monte McDowell of West Milton and Roddy McDowell of Winter Haven, FL. Gary served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He also loved watching football especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals, his coffee and cigarettes. Gary loved spending time with his children and telling them stories about the past. He had a passion for going out to eat and finding good food and enjoyed helping others daily. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
