Grace Alvera (Jackson) Seeker

Grace Alvera Seeker of Sidney, age 89, passed away on May 17, 2018 at Heartland of Piqua.  She was born on September 9, 1928 to the late John and Alvera (Prouse) Jackson in Marlette, Michigan.  She is survived by her loving children Linda (Howard Reitzes) Tobias of Carlsbad, California, Carolyn (Kevin) Weidner of Glendale, Arizona, Tim (Susan) Seeker of Sidney, and Janet (Doug) Billenstein of Sidney; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Lola Hicks.  She is preceded in death by her husband Jesse J. Seeker and siblings Genevieve Kennedy, Hazel Wilcox, Myrle Spencer, Robert Jackson, Warren Jackson, Dora Jickling, and Johnny Jackson.  Grace loved reading her Bible, reading to her grandchildren, working seek-n-find puzzles, and leading her widow’s Bible Study group.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Pleasant View Missionary Church, 5231 Gettysburg-Pitsburg Rd, Greenville.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday evening, May 21, at the church, as well as one hour prior to funeral services, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, Tuesday morning.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Grace’s honor to Hospice of Heartland, 580 Lincoln Park Blvd - Suite 320,  Kettering, OH  45429.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family online at www.hale-sarver.com.
