L. Helen Stickel, age 92, passed away on February 27, 2017. She was born on June 29, 1924 to the late Harley and Myrtle (Short) Hines in Troy, Ohio.  Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Stickel, and her sisters, Leola Martindale, Lucille Rudisill, and Mildred Dorman.  She will be missed and remembered by her daughters Karen Grudich of West Milton and Lisa (Skip) Miller of Fairborn; sons Terry (Judy) Stickel of Troy and Gary (Denise) Stickel of Huber Heights; grandchildren Andy (Erica) Grudich, Chris (Jen) Grudich, Matt (Crystal) Stickel, Hannah Stickel, Ryan Miller, Megan Miller, Aaron (Tasha) Ertel, and Brandie (Stoney) McGarvey and great-grandchildren Morgan Grudich, Mason Grudich, Ava Grudich, Mav Grudich, Eli Grudich, Faye Grudich, Mya Grudich, Jacob Reyes, Trevor Stickel, Desmond Stickel, Sarah Ertel, Michael Ertel, Mayci McGarvey. Helen was a member of the West Milton Friends Church.  The family will receive friends on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hale-Sarver.
