BRAMLAGE, John A.

Age 80, of West Milton passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center. John was born October 16, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Mabel Bramlage and sister Rita Cookson. John was a loving husband and father who loved to travel and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife Wava (Vickers) who he married on November 24, 1956, daughter Karen (John) Jay and son Darren (Carol) Bramlage, brother Thomas (Virginia) Bramlage, three grandsons Jason (Julie) Ford, Nathan (Tara) Ford, Chris (Mary Ann) Ford,, three granddaughters Nicole (Jason) Taylor, Debbie Smith, Kelly Bramlage, and great grandchildren Brody, Carson Taylor, Bailey, Trey, Myles, Eila, Alexis, Ryan, Jared, Chelsea Ford, Cameron Peyton, Keagan Smith, and Jaxson Hunter. John graduated from Chaminade High School in 1956. He served in the Air Force Reserves from 1954-1962. He was employed and retired from GM after 44 years and a member of UAW 696. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, November 9 from 5-7 PM at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Services will be held on Friday, November 10 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
