Kermit “Wally” Dale Walkup, age 77, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017. He was born March 2, 1940, in Rainelle, West Virginia, to his parents Thurman Allen & Nellie Katherine (Smith) Walkup. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Victoria Sue (Strohl) Walkup; his son and daughter-in-law Christopher & Kimberly Walkup of West Milton; brother Raymond Walkup of Pennsylvania; grandchildren Jordan Foust, Chloe Foust, Nash Walkup; great grandson Logan Foust; sister-in-law Rita Kendall of Ft. Loraine, He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ray Walkup and Kenneth Walkup. Wally served in the US Navy and was a member of the Irish Club, VFW Post 7741, and VFW Post 3283. Wally enjoyed playing softball, golf, and spending time with friends. He loved his family and friends and always lived life to the fullest. Private family services.
