Linda Cook, age 54, of West Milton, went to be with Jesus on September 11 – so appropriate that she was called home on 911 (the emergency number) as she was the Chief of the Union Township Life Squad. Linda was also well known in the town of West Milton as “the ostrich farmer on 571”. She loved spending time with her family and playing in her flower garden and pond at home. She is preceded in death by her father, Gaines Monroe Cook, her half-sister Kim Ross, and her beloved son Robby Webb. She will be missed and remembered by her beautiful daughter Megan, her bundle of joy (her grandson) Robby Webb and her best friend, Shawn McLoughlin (she was his sunshine). Also missing Linda will be her rock and strength-her mom, Margy Patterson – and her sweet second dad, Bob Patterson. Brother Larry (Tina) Cook, Sister Mary Cook, step-brothers Steve Patterson, David (Ellie) Patterson, Jim (Willemien) Patterson, and Mark Patterson, best friend Dawn Caldwell and many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 AM at United Christian Church – 8611 Hoke Road – Clayton, OH 45315 with Pastor Coleen Beasecker officiating. The family asks that you join them for lunch at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Union Township Life Squad or Hospice of Miami County. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
