Lynn “Michelle” Preston

Age 50, of West Milton, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Englewood Health & Rehab Center. She was born February 13, 1968, in Huber Heights, Ohio, to her parents John & Jane (Ward) Metzger.  Michelle graduated from Wayne High School class of 1986. On July 10, 1993, she married David Preston in Pleasant Hill, Ohio, and together they shared a life for over 25 years. Michelle loved spending time with her family and loved bicycling, walking and traveling on family vacations. She also enjoyed  cooking, reading, and gardening. She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband David Preston; son Douglas Preston of Kettering; her parents; brother and sister-in-law Eric & Rachelle Metzger of West Milton. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kaitlynn Preston in 2014. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday,  August 11, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. Pastor Daniel Preston will officiate with interment following at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
