Ralph Johnson
Age 74, of Laura,  passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born August 17, 1943, to his parents Ralph L. & Phara (Brown) Johnson. Ralph graduated from Newton High School class of 1961 and worked as a owner/operator truck driver until his passing. He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the US Navy Seabees. He was a member of the VFW Post 6557, Moose Lodge 2695, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3998, and Independent Order of Odd Fellows. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Christopher Johnson. He will be missed and remembered by his daughters and sons-in-law Melissa & Kevin Lowe of Sidney, Nicole Hatcher of Piqua, Kristy & Christopher Wallace of Piqua; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters Sharon Nowoczynski of Huber Heights, Gloria Adams of Pleasant Hill. He is also survived by his longtime companion Bonnie Kay (Keller) Rolf and her family, sons and daughters-in-law Richard & Terri Rolf of Laura, Rex & Jodi Rolf of West Milton; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 PM Thursday, March 15, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. A private graveside service will be held at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
