Ray Elden Cress, age 83, passed away December 29, 2017.  He was born March 7, 1934 to the late Wesley and Alma (Swank) Cress in Phillipsburg, Ohio.  Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte (Smith) Cress and siblings Effie Donnett, Ralph Cress, Floyd Cress, Arlene Buckelew, Dorothy Besecker, Harley Cress, Allen Cress, Pauline Gregg, Ronnie Cress, and Raymond Cress.  He will be forever missed and remembered by his daughter Brenda (Kevin) Hedrick; grandson Anthony Foster; great-grandaughter Charlotte Foster; twin sister Faye Brandt and sisters Ada Hoke and Nelda Puterbaugh.

Ray was a member of Hecks Angels R.O.M.E.O. Scooter Club of West Milton, McDonald’s chapter.  He retired from Delco Products and enjoyed his secondary career at Ebberts in Covington, Ohio, and all of the friends he made there and along the way.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday evening, January 2, 2018 at the funeral home.  Online condolences and memories may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
