Raymond Bruce Green, Age 95, of Ludlow Falls, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born November 17, 1922 to the late George Raymond & Rosa (Creech) Green in Evarts, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his step son Rob Darst; brother Dewey Green and sister Cleo Bolinger and Rosa Mae Hendrickson. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Mary Ruth (Victor) Green of Ludlow Falls; children Doug (Rita) Green of Mooresville, NC, Danny (Deb) Green of Overgaard, AZ, Pam (Kim Cross) Green of Ludlow Falls, Roxann (Marlin) Arrington of Arab, AL, and Yvonne (Bob) Charles of Xenia; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Raymond served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II. He also was a life member of Mountain Top VFW #6557 and American Legion Post 487 and loved fishing, hunting and gardening. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, November 27 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or Honor Flight of Dayton.
