Richard A. Garver

Richard A. Garver of Beavercreek, age 72, passed away on May 5, 2019.  He was born on September 12, 1946 In Greenville to the late Kenneth and Bernice (Shuler) Garver.  He is survived by his wife Louise Garver; siblings John (Carol) Garver of West Milton and Jim Garver of Phoenix, Arizona; and niece and nephew Kim and Phillip Garver.  Richard achieved his Associates Degree in Economics from Fullerton College, California, and went on to a career as a mechanical engineer for the Kollmorgen Corporation.  He enjoyed gardening, travel, and reading.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.  The family will receive friends from 12 noon – 2:00 PM, prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.  Messages of sympathy may be left for the family online at www.hale-sarver.com.
