Kiser, Richard Paul “Dick”, age 82, of West Milton, passed away June 7, 2017. Dick was born June 18, 1934 in Bradford, OH to the late Joseph and Cora (Gustin) Kiser. He was a graduate of Bradford High School class of 1952 and an inductee to the Bradford Athletic Hall of Fame for his athletic prowess in baseball, football, basketball, and track. He continued his pitching career playing semi-pro baseball in Dayton. He coached both youth and high school baseball for years. Dick also was an avid golfer and bowler. Dick retired as a lineman/serviceman from Dayton Power & Light. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Dick was a member of the West Milton Rotary (past president), Masonic Lodge, VFW, American Legion, and Moose. He enjoyed making homemade ice cream for his brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his wife of 43 years Karen (Shank) Kiser, siblings Bernard Kiser, Erma Kathryn Hudson, Helen Aultman, Betty Jo Miller, and Joseph Kiser. He is survived by his children Rob Kiser of Covington, Mindy (Timothy) Benjamin of Tipp City; step daughter Monica Krause of Redondo Beach, CA; grandchildren Amanda, Hannah, Angel and Kristy Benjamin of Tipp City, OH and Kaley Krause of Redondo Beach, CA; sister Mary Edna Gordon of Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Saturday, June 10 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor John Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford.
