Robert L. Helmer, age 79, of Troy, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born May 19, 1938 to the late Ralph Helmer & Lorna Mae (Niles) Loughman in Troy, Ohio. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Joyce A. (Fulton) Helmer of Troy; son Jeffery L. Helmer of Troy; siblings Richard Helmer of Troy, Chester Loughman of Tipp City, and Bea Hergenrather of Troy. Robert worked at Burson Corp and North Dixie Tool then retired from Northmont Tool as a gauge machinist. Private cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family.
