I’ll always remember Samantha’s infectious laughter and ability to empathsize and relate. We exchanged words and dreams and occasional silly things like a car bumper sticker of Sven and Ole’s pizza restaurant in the North Shore of MN.

To Sam's family and friends, please accept my deepest sympathy on her tragic passing. I worked with Sam in radio sales for three years and it was such fun working with her! No matter what she was going through, she was always so positive and never lost her sense of humor. May your faith and happy memories of Sam serve you well in at this sad time.

Words cannot describe how much love and support are being sent to you all during this awful time. Sam - you were a WONDERFUL coworker and friend. You helped make my internship less scary, the world brighter. Because of you, I started reading/listening to Outlander. You helped me discover a whole world of novels and short stories I would never have found on my own. I think of you each time I read about our Sassenach. You encouraged me, enlightened me, and empowered me throughout our 3 years as coworkers. When I needed a new job, you were there, helping me set up my interview with Bess and encouraging me to try something new - I thank you for that. You helped keep me afloat.
You were a wonderful light in many, many lives - a strong and joyful presence. Miss you - love you.

This was such shocking news. Sam was a amazing person,she had such a zest for life and was fighting with everything she had. She was always willing to help in any way she could and if she couldn’t then she would find someone who could. Her family are very heavy in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure she is watching over them and will protect them as much as she can. I can’t imagine the pain they are feeling in there broken hearts. But Sam would want them to keep there heads high and continue to move forward.

Sam was such an amazing individual inside and out. She was always willing to go the extra mile, no matter how much of an inconvenience it was for her. I will always remember her addictive smile and upbeat personality in any situation. Many thoughts and prayers to Sam's family and my deepest condolences to hear that such an amazing person has been taken, far too soon.

I had the good fortune to meet Samantha last summer. We clicked immediately and I adored her. Her soul radiated sunshine and her positive outlook, even in the face of cancer, was simply amazing. I am so very sorry this tragedy took her way too soon.
To her children and grandchildren ~ my deepest, heartfelt sympathies to you all. I pray for peace and strength in the coming days. Know that she loved you all so very much. Carry that love in your heart and she will be with you always.

She was one of the most intelligent, creative optimistic persons I’e ever worked with. Genuine heart beyond words, and this is tough for everyone. My family has been comforting me all weekend as I can’t stop sobbing. My Buddhist congregation is saying prayers for Sam’s transition.
I’ve known Sam for more than 42 years. We shared similar childhoods but didn’t know it until we reconnected in our 40s. Sam LOVED her children and grandchildren more than anything. They were the light that gave her the her courage to fight the hard fight with cancer.
Carry her love with you, Sam’s boys, daughter-in-laws and sweet, sweet grand babies. Her love for you transcends her departure. She’ll be with you always.
