To the family of Sierra Flanary, please accept my deepest condolences for you loss. I am so very, very sorry. Our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah gives us the hope of a future where there will be an end to all sickness, death, pain, and tears-Revelation 21:4. Until then please accept the comfort and peace that only He can give.
"Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." -2 Corinthians 1: 3,4. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

THIS CHILD OF MINE
"I'll lend you for a little time, a child of mine. He said,
For you to love while she lives, and mourn for when she's dead.
It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three.
But will you, till I call her back, take care of her for Me?
She'll bring her charms to gladden you,
and shall her stay be brief,
You'll have her lovely memories as solace for your grief."

"I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn
I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true,
And from the throngs that crowd life's lane, I have selected you.
Now will you give her all your love, nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call her back again?"

I fancied that I heard them say: "Dear Lord, thy will be done."
For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter her with tenderness, we'll love her while we may,
And for all the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay;
But shall the angels call for her much sooner than we've planned;
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try and understand.

This helped sustain me when I lost my son, hope it helps you all also.

Sierra was a quiet little girl with a sweet nature. She was kind to her classmates, always helpful....and SMART! She grew into such an amazing, strong young person. Her life was short but her influence will be felt for many years to come. What a blessing to have known her. My deepest sympathy to you, her family and friends.
