Alfred H Schade

Alfred H. Schade, age 102, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at home with his family. He was born December 27, 1923 to Hermann and Marjanna (Dardas) Schade in Bromberg, Poland. He is preceded in death by his parents, his seven siblings, a son-in-law, Chuck Hein, a great grandson, Isiah, and his loving wife of 52 years, Gisela Erna Grete (Marquardt) Schade.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Angelika Schade Hein (Fort Recovery) and Rosemarie Brigitte Allen (Sidney), his son- in-law, Theodore Allen, Jr, Herbert Mielke, his foster son, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and all his friends.

Alfred served in the German army during WWII. He and his family of four immigrated to the USA in 1960 and have lived in Ohio ever since. Alfred worked for various companies during his life using his skills as an electrician. He is a member of the Church of the Brethren in West Charleston. He was also a member of the Czech-Slovak Club where he enjoyed dancing and socializing with friends. He enjoyed boating, fishing, riding his motorcycle and traveling.

A memorial service/celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wilson Health Hospice at 1081 Farmington Drive, Sidney, OH 45365. Online memories of Alfred may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
