Andrew "Andy" Cummings

Andrew “Andy” Steven Cummings, age 36, of Pleasant Hill, passed away on March 29, 2025. He was born July 27, 1988 to Steven Thomas & Julia Carol (Kossler) Cummings in Dayton, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his mother Julia Carol Cummings. He will be missed and remembered by his father Steven Thomas Cummings of West Milton; sister Delores Marie Cummings of Englewood. He will also be missed by his closest friends: Kris Hergenrather, Lee Hodge, Shayne Heffner, Mary Grebinski, Andrew(Chief) and Amy Bethel, Steve Stoner, Travis Bone, Phil and Annastasia Addington, Sean Clark, Dylan Myers, Chris Bell, Jareth Woody, Andrew Williamson and many, many more. He was greatly loved by so many people and touched the lives of everyone he met.

Andy was a graduate of Milton-Union High School class of 2007 and an alumni of both Sinclair and Wright State University where he received his bachelor’s degree. He worked at Hartzell Manufacturing as a Systems Administrator in Piqua for over 10 years. Andy loved playing video games such as World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 14, and his all-time favorite game, Path of Exile. He collected band t-shirts and enjoyed attending concerts and music festivals, like Bonnaroo. Andy was an avid listener of several comedy podcasts and loved comedy specials. Andy spent numerous hours watching E-sports, EVO, and League of Legends Worlds. He enjoyed attending events like Ohayo-con, Gen-Con, and the Ohio Renaissance Faire. One of Andy’s favorite pastimes was going on hiking trips in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to https://gofund.me/798502f7 . Online memories of Andy may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
