Anna Marie Taylor

Age 73, of Union, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022. She was born December 23, 1948, in Buffalo, New York, to her parents Clarence J. & Loraine (Yaw) Lashway. Anna earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wright State University and retired from Dayton Children’s Hospital as a pediatric nurse. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, traveling, and photography. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music and raising her dogs.  But mostly, Anna loved spending time with her family.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Paul Duane Taylor; children and their spouses Angelique Renee & Paul Kaple of Columbus, Ohio, Laura Ann & Pat Brown of Sarasota, Florida, Jennifer Dawn Taylor of Union; 6 grandchildren Nichoel, Jacob, Alec, Zachary, Galen, and Madison; 2 great grandchildren Jaxson and Maxx. Her siblings and their spouses are Clarence & Carol Lashway of Melbourne, Florida, Robert Lashway, Tim & Peggy Lashway of Miamisburg, Ohio, Peter Lashway of Buffalo, New York, Ken Lashway of Buffalo, New York, Kathy & David Netzley Of Kannapolis, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Mike Lashway and Paul Lashway.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 2, at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 972 S. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment at Bear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Friday at the church. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Transfiguration Catholic Church.
