Arlene Frances McCune

Arlene Frances McCune, age 81, of Arcanum, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Troy Rehab & Care Center. She was born April 27, 1940 to the late Lowell B. & Mary K. (Skiles) Longenecker in Monroe Township, Ohio. She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Kenneth E. McCune of 63 years; sons David Michael (Sheila) McCune of Beavercreek, Patrick Allen McCune of Fort Worth, TX, and Kevin Mathew (Elisa) McCune of Craig, CO; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings Kathleen Miller of Greenville, Anna Mae (Melvin) Johnson of Greenville, Ellen (Denny) O’Dell of Ansonia. Arlene loved cooking, sewing, making grandchildren’s clothes, quilting, making thanksgiving dinner, gardening, going to garage sales. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331.
