Barbara Jean Dinwoody, age 85, of Tipp City, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born February 2, 1939 to William Marshall & Hester Marie (Collins) Dunn in Dayton, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings William Dunn, Mary (LH) Smith, and Ronald Dunn.
She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Willis “Bud” M. Dinwoody of 67 years; daughters Elizabeth (Kevin) Kreitzer of Troy, and Angelia Crisp of Tipp City; grandchildren Tawni (Mike) Cochran of Miamisburg, Rendie (Aaron) Link of Tipp City, Russell (Dayna) Hammer of New Carlisle, and Katelyn (Quentin) Milby of Dayton; 12 great grandchildren; brother Lee (Jodelle) Dunn; sister-in-law Nita Dunn.
Barbara was a 1957 Northridge High School graduate and was a supervisor at Springhill Nurseries. Barbara spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved growing a garden, cooking, loved to shop. Barbara’s favorite time of year was Christmas as it was her time to shine and everyone who knew her loved her.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the Hale House Event Center (adjacent the parking lot from Hale-Sarver), 320 N. Miami St, West Milton. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the Cleveland Clinic.
