Barbara Jean (Swigart) Weikert

Barbara Jean (Swigart) Weikert, age 91, of Englewood, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital North. She was born August 21, 1934 to Nevin & Flora (Bare) Swigart in Montgomery County, Ohio.

A Christian caring woman who made lifetime friends from Randolph School days, DP&L, and Northmont School.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Weikert; son Gerald “Butch” Weikert.

She will be missed and remembered by her granddaughter Taylor Weikert; brother Nevin Swigart Jr (Sandy) and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:30 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a service beginning at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concord United Methodist Church.
