Barbara “Bobbie” Eifort,
Age 66, West Milton, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She was born November 4, 1958, in Dayton, Ohio, to her parents Russell E. & Thelma (Kistner) Cowic. Bobbie graduated from Meadowdale High School class of 1976 and worked for 32 years assembling parts for motorcycles at Cycle Electric in Brookville. She was a fun, crazy cat lady that enjoyed motorcycles, garage sales, listening to music, especially Janis Joplin, and experimenting with new delicious recipes…but we did all steer clear of her meatloaf! She enjoyed many weekend nights in dart leagues or just having drinks around a bonfire surrounded by the many friends from the neighborhood who called her mom. She will be greatly missed by many that loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Craig Eifort; and her siblings Rusty, Sue and Dee Dee. She will be missed and remembered by her daughter and son-in-law Kristy Boyd (Travis) of West Milton; grandchildren Luke & Braden of West Milton; step-daughter Danyelle McCrite (Justin) of Mesa, Arizona; step-son Justin Eifort (Melanie Renee) of Sturgis, Michigan; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; sister Judy Hoskins of New Lebanon; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM Saturday, April 5, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with a brief service beginning at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. Memories may be shared with the family online at www.hale-sarver.com
