Belinda Joan (Pequignot) Witherspoon, age 74, of West Milton, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Jamestown Place Health and Rehab. She was born September 1, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Howard & Lorena (Sergent) Pequignot of West Milton.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving daughters Michelle (Rocky) Wilcox of Xenia, and Emily Witherspoon of Kettering; grandchildren Jesse, Ally, Austin, Kale, and Olivia; sisters Rebecca (John) Hoffman of West Milton, Kathy Fausey of Dayton, Sherry Waldon of Miamisburg, and Kimberly (Anthony) Pasquale of Clermont, FL.

Belinda was a 1969 Milton-Union High School graduate. She worked at GTE for over 10 years before transitioning to Good Samaritan Hospital working in housekeeping. Belinda loved making ceramics, making and collecting candles, and cooking. She will be remembered as a fun-loving person, always had a “special” name for just about everyone. She could make you laugh so hard you would hurt. She was an original. Her daughters remember her as a happy homemaker, best snacks after school, best deviled eggs, and always kept them clean and tangle free.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Church of the Transfiguration, 972 S. Miami St, West Milton with a memorial mass beginning at 10:30 AM.
