Beverly Sue Denlinger
Age 79, of Brookville, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Brookhaven Senior Living. She was born July 22, 1942, in Troy, Ohio, to her parents Russell Melvin & Jessie Jean (Brown) Hartley. Beverly graduated from Troy High School class of 1960 and earned her Master’s of Education from the University of Dayton. On February 18, 1970, she married Ellis Junior Denlinger and together they shared a life until his passing in 2003. Beverly worked as a teacher for over 40 years at many area schools including Troy Christian School, Sugar Grove Christian School, Milton-Union School, and the Salem Christian Academy until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ellis; her parents; her siblings Dee Victor, Lee Whitaker, Wilma Hartley, and Ron Hartley. She will be missed and remembered by her children and their spouses Sara & Darrell Hall, Susan & Jim Mong, Caleb & Tonya Denlinger; grandchildren Elizabeth Grace Alcorn, Megan Eileen Alcorn, Jesse Thomas Hall, Leann Ressler, Luke Ressler; siblings Patty & Bob Wise and Doug & Judy Hartley. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 19, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Milton-Union Education Foundation.
