Bonnie Jeannine Morris, age 85, of West Milton, Ohio, passed away on August 28, 2026. She was born on May 5, 1941, in Troy, Ohio, to the late Robert E. Scott, Sr. and Anna G. (Goshorn) Scott. Bonnie was a loving, faith-filled, and kind woman whose life was centered on her family, her faith, and the simple joys that brought beauty to everyday living. She graduated from Newton High School with the class of 1959 and later devoted her life to her home and family as a homemaker. Her gentle spirit and steady presence were a blessing to all who knew her. A devoted member of the Church of the Nazarene, Bonnie faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher and Bible school teacher. She shared her love of the Lord with children and families through her teaching, encouragement, and example. Her faith was not only something she spoke about, but something she lived each day with grace and sincerity. Bonnie found joy in gardening and in the beauty of feminine things, especially pinks, purples, and other pretty things that reflected her warm and cheerful nature. She also loved singing, and her voice and spirit brought comfort and happiness to those around her. She had a gift for making others feel cared for, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Scott, Sr.; her mother, Anna G. (Goshorn) Scott; her brother, Robert E. Scott, Jr.; and her granddaughter, Leilia Busch. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of nearly 67 years, Ronald Lee Morris, Sr.; her children and their spouses, Ronald Lee Morris, Jr., Tammy Lynn and Brian Busch of Ludlow Falls, and Wendy Dawn and Ben Boyd of Stevensville, Michigan; her siblings and their spouses, Larry and Jeannie Scott of Covington and Dixie Lee and Chris Mong of Greenville; her grandchildren, Linsey Boyd, Brian Luke Busch, Natasha Bonnie Morris, Brooke Bloomberg, Bennie Boyd, Hannah Rodriguez, and Bonnie Busch; and her great-grandchildren, Adelynn Huff, Parker Huff, Maya Bloomberg, Mitzi Rodriguez. Bonnie’s life was a beautiful reflection of devotion, faith, and love. She will be remembered for her sweet spirit, her unwavering kindness, and the many ways she cared for her family and community. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her legacy of faith and love will remain a lasting comfort to all who knew her. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, September 3, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Wheelock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude, Tunnels to Towers, or Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
