Calvin Marion Flora

Calvin Marion Flora, age 73, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 12, 1948 to the late Clyde Marion & Ruth Myrtle (Lavy) Flora in Logansport, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Ken Pyle. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Linda Larue (Grim) Flora of 51 years; children Brian (Shannon) Flora of Greenville, Michael (Naomi) Flora of Albany, Western Australia, Renae (Rusty) Eshleman of Dayton; grandchildren Allison (Scott) Butterbaugh, Alex and Anna Flora, Emily, Michaela, Abbey, Amelia, and Kathleen Flora, Ella, Levi, and Oaklyn Eshleman; sister Irene Pyle of Delphi, IN, and brother Terry (Adela) Flora of Goshen, IN. Calvin was a member of Pleasant View Missionary Church where he was a faithful greeter and retired from Creative Cabinets. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed attending their sporting events and cheering them on. In retirement, he continued to enjoy working in a vineyard and raising German Shepherds. Calvin wholeheartedly devoted himself to his commitments, his church, and his family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Pleasant View Missionary Church, 5231 Gettysburg-Pitsburg Rd, Greenville, OH 45331 with Pastor Sean Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Newcomer Cemetery, Painter Creek, OH. The family will receive friends from 2-7 PM on Friday, August 20 at the church.
